About the Author

Kim has written many things for her enjoyment, including tons of unique thoughts, letters to herself, short stories, and random diary entries. All of these were written on sticky notes, Kleenex, or her high school notebook covers. Too bad nobody ever read those. Seriously, she has also written many articles that have been read by many nail technicians and published in Nails Magazine and Nail Pro Magazine.

Kim is married to a wonderful man, Michael. They

never had children unless you include their Shih Tsu “Coco.” They live in Purcellville, Virginia, outside Washington D.C. Kim owns Top Coat Nails & Spa, her second salon; she also owned Artistic Nails in Fairfax, Virginia, in the '90s. As you can tell, Kim is a career nail technician. She has been licensed for 40 years and does all forms of nails in her salon.

I loved this book from the very start and it was extremely engaging. I bought it right before I got on a flight and I finished it before we landed. The character development was wonderful and the plot transitions were perfect. Highly recommended for sure.
